Every player, U6-U13, must register through Online Registration to participate in DPO.
U6-U8 Registration Information
1) Player Pool:
U6, U7 and U8 players will be organized at practices and Weekend Play Dates in a player pool for their age group, not separated into teams. Everyone will be practicing together within their age group. To maximize skill acquisition, touches on the ball and fun at Play Dates, LMSC will place the players in small-sided games with others at a similar developmental level. This is the same approach used with the U8 competitive program to keep the players engaged with soccer and to prevent them from either losing interest when the competition level is too low or becoming frustrated when the competition level is too high.
2) No Team/Group Sign Ups:
There will be no Team Sign Ups or Group Sign ups for U6-U8 due to the Player Pool Structure. However, there will be Parent-Coaches necessary to help at Play Dates on the weekends and to assist with communications from the Club to the Parents in their age groups. For communication purposes only, groupings of kids will be broken down into Teams with a Parent Coach to facilitate the exchange of information about schedules, uniforms, snacks, etc, but please expect all the players at practices and Play Dates to be together and to rotate with a variety of players in their age group during the small-sided games.
U9-U13 Registration Information
1) Registration and Team Placement:
Every U9-U13 Player must first register individually to participate in DPO. Friend Requests and Team/Group Sign ups are also allowed (See Below), and efforts will be made to place players with others from their local school or neighborhood when possible. Player age groups may be combined to facilitate participation in league play. In the event of team combination, U9 and U10 age groups would combine for team play, and U11 and U12 and/or U12 and U13 age groups could be combined. This year LMSC is pleased to announce that the U9-U13 teams will be playing in the NorCal Region 3-4 Bronze league, which will include 8-10 home and away games with local clubs from Walnut Creek, Montclair, Peidmont, San Ramon, Danville, and possibly others with similar fall programs. The DPO teams will also have a uniform package this year from our Puma Sponsor.
2) Team/Group Sign-Ups:
a) U9 -U10: U9 and U10 Teams play 8 v. 8 during games and their roster may carry up to 14-15. This larger number was essential last year to ensure that enough players were at every game to provide at least 2-4 subs, and that in the event of additional absences, there were at least 8 players at the game so the team did not have to forfeit.
Team/Group Sign Ups for U9-U10 may be for a minimum of a Group of 5 and a Maximum of 14-15. Players will be added to fill out the roster up to 14. Some Groups from last year fielded an entire team and others enjoyed the combination of having familiar players and meeting new players on their teams.
b) U11-U13: U11-U13 Teams play 11 v. 11 during games and their roster may carry up to 18. This larger number was essential last year to ensure that enough players were at every game to provide at least 2-4 subs, and that in the event of additional absences, there were at least 11 players present at the game so the team did not have to forfeit.

c) Team/Group Roster: Once each player has completed Online Registration for DPO, a parent must send in a roster for their Team/Group Sign Up to LMSC Club Administrator, Heather Scott, at admin@lamorindasc.com. The Roster should list each player by name, their parents’ names, and the email contact for each player. The number of players on your Roster must be within the minimum and maximum number allowed for you child’s age group as indicated above. If you are using the Team/Group Sign Up, please be prepared to have one of your parents serve as a Parent-Coach for their player’s team.
2012 U6-U13 DPO Registration Fees
Cost of the Program: The costs of the program are as follows:
U6-U7: $300
U8: $450
U9-U13: $550
Cost per player covers all coaching/training costs, field permit costs, Norcal League entry fees (if applicable to age group), and administrative costs.
The cost of the LMSC DPO Uniform Package is as follows:
U6-U8: $35.00
U9-U13: $50.00
Family Discount- For families with 2 or more players in the DPO Program you will receive a $15 discount from your total registration fees. This discount applies to the entire family (i.e.- there are no additional discounts for 3 kids or 4 kids.
Refund Policy 2012: There are no refunds. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the LMSC Board. Please email any refund requests to the LMSC Board using the contact information on this website.
