2010 LMSC Hot August Jamboree a Huge Success!
Hot August Jamboree

LMSC Boys at the Hot August Jamboree

Lamorinda Soccer Club hosted their 2010 "Hot August" Jamboree the weekend of August 28th and 29th at Stanley Middle School in Lafayette.  U9 and U10 boys and girls and their families braved fierce wind on Saturday but Sunday turned out to be a gorgeous day for soccer. There were 36 teams who attended, all throughout the Bay Area and beyond, including teams from Rocklin and from West Sonoma County! The Jamboree provided the young players with a wonderful opportunity to practice for the upcoming Fall League.

Girls at Hot August JamboreeThe LMSC Jamboree Coordinator, Mina Sadoff, would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers from LMSC's boys and girls U9 and U10 teams, as this was definitely a group effort.  She also would like to thank both Top Dog, Jamba Juice for providing such delicious food and drinks and to Noah's Bagels, Peet's Coffee, Safeway and Diablo Foods for their donations to help support our Concessions booth.

LMSC would like to thank Mina Sadoff for pulling off an amazing jamboree weekend this year without a hitch. She put in countless hours over many months organizing and planning for the event. She worked tirelessly and with continued good cheer throughout the entire process, and under her efforts the LMSC home teams and teams from around the greater Bay Area enjoyed a tremendous weekend of fun-filled soccer. Thank you, Mina!
