U9 & U10 Boys and Girls Divisions 1 & 3

Location
All games will be played at Stanley Middle School located at 3455 School Street in Lafayette.

Game Format
The games will be played on Saturday and Sunday. All teams will play 3 games - 8v8 with 20 minute halves. N0 standings will be recorded. The game schedule will be e-mailed to participating teams mid-August.

Registration: (All Divisions Are Full!)

This is a US Club Soccer sanctioned event - open to all USSF affiliated teams. For teams not registered with US Club Soccer, you must obtain one-time event insurance from US Club Soccer for $50/team. Log onto www.usclubsoccer.org for the Optional Tournament Insurance Form and program details. Check-in is required 45 minutes prior to the first game on Saturday.

We are inviting all U9 & U10 Boys and Girls teams to apply. U10 teams are able to register as Division 1 (Gold) or Division 3 (Silver/Bronze). Please note that LMSC will match teams according to their registration as best as possible, but all U10 teams must be willing to play in either Division. There are no separate Divisions for U9 Teams. It is our intent to provide a fun filled soccer event. A participation gift will be given to each player!

Fees & Game Rules
The registration fee is $275 per team (payable by credit card with on line registration). Fees are forfeited if a team withdraws after acceptance. LMSC will attempt to provide licensed referees for all of the games. If your team has a currently registered referee who would like to participate, please contact the LMSC's referee coordinator at paulbarbir@hotmail.com. Referees will be compensated. This is a US Club Soccer event and all corresponding tournament rules apply.

2009 HOT AUGUST JAMBOREE A HUGE SUCCESS!

LMSC U9 White Team Moves Down the Field at 2009 Hot August Jamboree

Forty-two Bay Area U9-U10 Girls and Boys teams enjoyed a fabulous Hot August Jamboree Weekend, August 25th and 26th, hosted by LMSC at Stanley Middle and Lafayette Elementary Schools. The teams braved the hot wind on Saturday and came back to play some more in beautiful weather on Sunday. It was a wonderful way for the U9 and U10 teams to play against other local teams they will be meeting again soon for league play now underway.

Many thanks go to Nick Stevenson, Jamboree Chair, for untold hours putting the event together from start to finish, Mary Newman, last year's Jamboree Coordinator and current volunteer coordinator for her assistance, and the U9-U10 parents for all their volunteer work to help make the weekend a success.
