The LMSC Board Of Directors is in need of new members for 2012. The board is committed to the betterment of competitive soccer in the Lamorinda area and would welcome dedicated individuals. If you are interested in the continued development and enrichment of the Lamorinda Soccer Club, please visit the www.lamorindasc.com website and click on "About LMSC" and then "Our Mission".
If you like what you see and feel that you can make a contribution then please send oc@lamorindasc.com a letter with the following information:
1. An indication that you truly want to be on the LMSC Board for the advancement and good of the Lamorinda Soccer Club and not simply to provide an advantage to your player child.
2. Confirm that you can spend at least 2-3 hours per week on Club business plus attend at least one meeting a month.
3. Outline the skills, training or experience that you have that you believe will be beneficial (Soccer experience, accounting background, Sr. Executive, construction, team manager, team job done well, strong relationship with the various school districts, parks and recreation, EBMUD, etc., etc).
Please submit your letter of interest and a resume to the Lamorinda Soccer Club Board via an email to oc@lamorindasc.com by December 2, 2011. The Nominating Committee will interview all qualified applicants, and a slate of officers will be selected and presented for election in January at the Annual General Meeting.
